Mother Nature
So, today let's talk about Mother Nature. Now, when I say nature I am not going to give you a speech on the conservation of nature. Instead, I will tell you about my views and thoughts about nature.
So, I decided to title this post "Mother Nature" because I love being around nature and whenever I am around nature I feel blessed, safe, and happy. So, nature is like a mother to me. When you come to think of it we depend on nature for a lot of things and nature never fails to provide. But, I think mother nature has over-pampered us humans over the years because now some of us are never satisfied with what we get and we have become greedy. But, just cause nature provides that does not mean that you will exploit her resources. I say that it is our responsibility to take care of nature.
Just a few days ago I saw a post where a young bird gathered food and took this food to the nest and gave it to an old bird which turns out to be the young bird's parent. This post was really sweet and it touched my heart. The post also reminded me that as a child of nature, I should also take care of it. Birds, animals, mountains, rivers, oceans all of these are such beautiful creations of nature. So, I believe that as a part of this big community, it is our responsibility to preserve our environment or if not preserve then at least not to damage it any further.
If we could establish a deep abiding relationship with nature, we would
never kill an animal for our appetite; we would never harm, or vivisect, a
monkey, a dog, or a guinea pig for our benefit. We would find other ways to
heal our wounds, heal our bodies.
So, my question to you is will you play your part in protecting nature?
Will you take care of nature just as it has taken care of us?
Do share your views on the matter and take care. See you in the next post.
Bye!
