Hi Friends!!! This is Ishaan and I am back with another post. Hope you all are doing well. So, today's post is about something that has seen a lot of growth and has started to become a new trend. Yep, you guessed it, AI. Artificial Intelligence is something that has shown an immense amount of growth in a very short period. I open the news and every other day, there is news of some new invention, most of these inventions seem very cool and attractive. I mean just think of it, an AI that can create images, one that can generate songs and another that can answer all of your questions.  Sounds very good, right? However, the use of AI is a highly controversial topic. While it has a lot of advantages, and it is also convenient, you cannot ignore the fact that it also has many disadvantages. Shortly, big companies would be able to purchase machines and these AI would operate those machines. This would lead to large-scale unemployment.  Besides, I feel that AI would just make us lazy....

The night of the darkest hour Part-1

I had been waiting for the weekend so eagerly, and finally, it is here. After a long week, I will finally get some time for myself......At least that was what I thought. But now that the weekend is here, I don't feel like doing anything.  I have quite a few ideas to kill time and also have some fun, but all I want to do is "nothing", or maybe I don't know exactly what I want to do. So, here I am laying on my bed and staring at the blades of the fan. My mind lost thinking about things that made absolutely no sense, and then I got reminded of a story that I had started writing a few years back. I never completed the story. Anyways, I wanted to share it with you all. So, here it is -  The night of the darkest fear  After a four-hour-long flight, I finally arrived at my destination. Located 128km south of Mysore is the beautiful hill station, Ooty. It is popularly called "The Queen of Hill Stations".  I was looking forward to spending some great time, making new...

" What's your favorite place in the world?" this was the question that they had asked me. So, I began to think of all the places that I had been to, and believe me when I say that my bed was one of the first things that came to my mind. I continued to think, but couldn't choose one place. There were so many to choose from. But in the end, I made up my mind and said, "I don't have a favorite place. What I do have are favorite people, and when I am with those people, every place feels special." (Should I have just said "My bed"? Meh, who cares.) Hi Friends!!! This is Ishaan and I am back with another post. Hope you all are doing well. So, today's post is about our favorites.  Now as you all know, most of us have many favorite things - a favorite place, favorite food, favorite book, favorite movie, favorite person, favorite color, or other smaller things such as our favorite pair of socks - and the list goes on. So, as is evident we all have m...

A memory and a lesson

Hi Friends!!! This is Ishaan and I am back with another post. Hope you all are doing well. So, today I would like to share with you, a memory and a lesson that I learned a few years back. Recently I have been noticing that people these days cannot be pleased easily. It takes a lot of stuff to make them happy. Sometimes people do not get satisfied no matter what, because they don't know what makes them happy. At times we feel sad or depressed and nothing seems to excite us. Well, this blog is just about one of those "blue days"... So, here I was sitting by the window, looking outside. It was raining heavily, and the pitter-patter of the rain was quite soothing to my mind. The sky was covered with dark clouds. It doesn't rain often around here, but when it does, the view is quite mesmerizing. The rain was accompanied by a pleasant smell - Petrichor.  The tiny raindrops reminded me of a day from a few years ago. The memory of a day from the pandemic- I woke up in the mo...
