Human Nature

Image
Here I sat watching tv, and now that I think of it I wasn't watching tv I was merely sitting in front of it and my mind was lost in thinking of how I should kill my boredom. So, I walked up to the kitchen, and that's when I saw "them" - Onions. It was these onions that inspired me to write today's blog. (and also that it helped to kill my boredom) Wait WHAT!? NO, the blog isn't about onions. It's about "human nature". I am probably not making any sense. Let me explain: So, to make sense of what I said first you need to know the definition of an onion that is   a swollen edible bulb used as a vegetable, having a pungent  taste and smell, and  composed of several concentric layers. Now you know what an onion is but, you probably still did not understand how it is related.  People I have met I have often compared to onions. They grow during their lifetime and they also develop layers. So , humans are like onions because both have many layers and als...

Changes

Image
Hi Friends!!! This is  Ishaan  and I am back with another post. Hope you all are doing well. So, today l et's talk about Changes. So, changes are when we  make (someone or something) different; alter or modify it. Every second, there are millions of changes taking place all around the world. The world changes and so do we.  Changes are so typical in today's society that they have become a part of who we are. For example, I visit my country once or twice a year, and every time I go there I see something or the other has changed. Some buildings or shops that were not present in the previous year are now bustling with people. I noticed that along with my surroundings, the people who live there have also changed(both physically and mentally). For as long as I can remember, the time has changed and so have people. One day people are together, then the next they’re apart. Times change and so do people is a saying I have always liked because it reminds me of how things are...

An experience

Hi Friends!!! This is  Ishaan  and I am back with another post. Hope you all are doing well. So, today's blog is a bit different. As I am going to share an experience with you all today. I do not usually share my experiences with you all but today I feel like sharing one because it was really fun. Now, our definitions of fun are not the same but, yes it will be quite interesting, and you might also learn something from it just like I did.  So, I was on this adventurous hike and I was having lots of fun until  I saw the entrance to a giant cavern I entered and saw the view in front of me. It was magnificent. The cavern was thousands of feet above the ground. I could see the forest leading to the ocean. The ocean looked as if it was one with the sky.  I remember a boy was with me. I had told him to stay out of the cavern while I checked whether it was safe. I called the boy in the cavern. He was right beside me when I noticed that there were structures that l...

Rhythm of life

Image
So, here I was listening to some upbeat songs and I was having lots of fun humming the tunes but, then a thought came into my mind - Music can express every feeling. Maybe music is what feelings sound like. Our music choices say a lot about us and when words leave off, that's where the music begins. Hi Friends!!! This is Ishaan and I am back with another post. Hope you all are doing well. So, today l et's talk about Music. Music is the shorthand of emotions. Moreover, it is a means of giving form to our inner feelings without attaching them to events or objects in the world. I think that music is one of the greatest forms of art to ever exist and that life without it would be pretty dull. If you want to firm up your body, head to the gym. If you want to exercise your brain, listen to music. There are few things that stimulate the brain the way music does. If you want to keep your brain engaged throughout the aging process, listening to or playing music is a great tool. I...
