An experience

Hi Friends!!! This is
Ishaan and I am back with another post. Hope you all are doing well. So, today's blog is a bit different. As I am going to share an experience with you all today. I do not usually share my experiences with you all but today I feel like sharing one because it was really fun. Now, our definitions of fun are not the same but, yes it will be quite interesting, and you might also learn something from it just like I did.

So, I was on this adventurous hike and I was having lots of fun until I saw the entrance to a giant cavern I entered and saw the view in front of me. It was magnificent. The cavern was thousands of feet above the ground. I could see the forest leading to the ocean. The ocean looked as if it was one with the sky.

I remember a boy was with me. I had told him to stay out of the cavern while I checked whether it was safe. I called the boy in the cavern. He was right beside me when I noticed that there were structures that looked like steps leading to the edge of the cliff. I pointed it out to the boy and as I did, I realized that we were slipping toward the edge of the cliff.

We slipped off the edge before I could even react to it. I shut my eyes close at first but when I opened my eyes, there was this silence around me. I could see the horizon where the sea mixed with the sky. I was too afraid to look down as I knew we were thousands of feet high in the sky. I looked at the boy, he was smiling and seemed happy. I wasn't screaming, I sensed a lack of fear within myself but then I thought what's the point in being afraid I should focus on the last moments of my life as soon I would hit the ground and die.

I enjoyed the view of the setting sun until we were just a few meters from the ground. I could see the land from the corner of my eye and felt that the end was near, but I was surprised when instead of hitting the hard ground I fell into a giant pool of water I guess I was so engulfed in my thoughts that I never noticed the pool of water that was perfectly circular in shape but very large in area. I felt happy for a moment. That's when I woke up realizing it was all a dream.

So, you must be thinking "Oh! So it was just a dream". Yeah, it was. But at times, dreams can teach you things that even life can not. I learned from that dream that no matter how life is, always focus on the present because you never know what the future has in hold for you and at times you miss the small things that life gives you in the present moment just because you are too busy thinking of the future.

"Live in the moment." We've all heard it before, but not many people actually take these words to heart. People who live in the moment also have more motivation to get outside, have an adventure, and do kind things for others. Who doesn't like to see the smile on another person's face when you compliment them?

Here's an example. Let's say you've been wanting to go on a bike ride to the park and have a picnic for a long time now. Yet every time you ask yourself, "Do I want to go now?" that familiar sensation of self-doubt comes creeping in and you put it off. Maybe you want to “save your energy” or “it’s too late in the day”. Most reasons, however, for not doing the things you want are unjustified. If you decided to go out after all, you could have a wonderful time! In fact, you’ll probably gain the motivation to do it again and again!

I mean just think of it. We spend so much of our time either recalling the good and bad memories of the past or planning our future. But in reality, both of these do not exist because while one moment has already passed, the other is yet to come. So, we only have the present moment and we should try to enjoy it while we still can. The faster we realize this the better or worse life gets (depending on who you ask). The moral of the blog is that be happy because you are worth it, and so is your life.

Well, anyways this is all I had to share. Do tell me your opinions by commenting and if you liked my blog then FOLLOW ME by Pressing the "follow" button in the sidebar. I'll see you in the next post. Until then, take care.
