Human Nature

Here I sat watching tv, and now that I think of it I wasn't watching tv I was merely sitting in front of it and my mind was lost in thinking of how I should kill my boredom. So, I walked up to the kitchen, and that's when I saw "them" - Onions. It was these onions that inspired me to write today's blog. (and also that it helped to kill my boredom)

Wait WHAT!? NO, the blog isn't about onions. It's about "human nature". I am probably not making any sense. Let me explain: So, to make sense of what I said first you need to know the definition of an onion that is a swollen edible bulb used as a vegetable, having a pungent taste and smell, and composed of several concentric layers.

Now you know what an onion is but, you probably still did not understand how it is related. People I have met I have often compared to onions. They grow during their lifetime and they also develop layers. So, humans are like onions because both have many layers and also make you cry at times.

Hi Friends!!! This is Ishaan and I am back with another post. Hope you all are doing well. So, today let's talk about Human nature. Understanding human nature is not so simple. Just when you start to feel that you have begun to understand someone, they will show you another one of their so-called "layers" and then you will feel like you are still a long way from truly understanding them.

This applies to all of us, we all have "layers". Is your behavior the same towards your friends and your adversaries? (if it is then congratulations, you are not an onion) My point is that most of us behave differently between different groups of people. So, we show only certain parts of our personality (layers) to them.

To truly understand people you just gotta peel as many layers without wounding them to get to their sweet inner soul without shedding tears, because the more you know people your eyes shed the more tears. Sometimes out of pain, sometimes out of joy, sometimes out of disbelief, and sometimes just like that.

The same thing applies to our problems as well. When we first start off trying to solve a problem, the first solutions we come up with are very complex, and most people stop there.

But if we keep going, live with the problem, and peel more layers of the onions off, we can often arrive at some very elegant and simple solutions.

Most people just don't put in the time and energy to get there.

People I have discovered, are made up of layers and layers of secrets. You believe you know them, that you understand them, but their motives are always hidden from you, buried in their hearts. You will never know them, but sometimes you decide to trust them.

So, this is all I had to share with you guys.

  1. Words of wisdom...I am feeling proud. In fact it's an human psychology, people always tend to chose what is best for them. They pretend to be unselfish, all so that they can feel good about themselves. People talk good but move different, it's coz of complicated human behaviour in order to exploit every possible opportunity. Multilayered...
