Hi Friends!!! This is Ishaan and I am back with another post. Hope you all are doing well. So, today's post is about something that has seen a lot of growth and has started to become a new trend. Yep, you guessed it, AI.

Artificial Intelligence is something that has shown an immense amount of growth in a very short period. I open the news and every other day, there is news of some new invention, most of these inventions seem very cool and attractive. I mean just think of it, an AI that can create images, one that can generate songs and another that can answer all of your questions. 

Sounds very good, right?

However, the use of AI is a highly controversial topic. While it has a lot of advantages, and it is also convenient, you cannot ignore the fact that it also has many disadvantages. Shortly, big companies would be able to purchase machines and these AI would operate those machines. This would lead to large-scale unemployment. 

Besides, I feel that AI would just make us lazy. Just imagine, you wouldn't have to do the dishes, wash clothes, cook food, or clean the house, because AI would do it for you. Now, it sounds great, but in such a utopia, humans would probably end up being lousy couch potatoes.

Let us consider a more recent AI. ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot developed by OpenAI and released in November 2022. The name "ChatGPT" combines "Chat", referring to its chatbot functionality. So, it can answer anything you ask it. However, the creator of ChatGPT himself said that he is a bit concerned about the misuse of the AI. It can be used for malicious purposes, such as large-scale disinformation or offensive cyberattacks.

These days people are trying to build an AI that is realistic and can perform all the functions of a human. Moreover, there have been attempts of making sentient AI programs. If you ask me, the idea of an AI that can show emotions is not the best. This is what happens in the movies. We make a sentient AI and then that AI tries to wipe off humanity. 

So, I feel that while AI may seem like an efficient and effective thing today. But, in the long term, it may not be so profitable for us.

This morning, I went for a jog just before sunrise. The air was cool, not cold—just enough to wake me up. The world was still quiet, half-asleep. I was walking home one evening, lost in thought, when a friend texted me out of the blue:   “How do you know when it’s worth reaching back out—and when it’s time to let go?”   It was a simple question, but it stirred something deeper in me.
