Odd one out...

Hi Friends!!! I am back with another post. Hope you all are doing well. It has been a long time since I posted, but worry not 'cause I am back, and I am better than ever. Today's blog is about those people who stand out from the crowd, the people who we generally call "The odd one out".

Odd one out, defined as someone or something in a group that is different or exceptional.

Very often I find myself in situations where I feel like I don't fit in, and I can't do much because if I interrupt, I will definitely be treated as the odd one out. In such situations, many of us are forced to wonder "What should I do to be able to fit in?" 

While most of us will try and find a way to join the others or simply to fit in, I would beg to differ. Why, you ask? Well, I believe that it is very easy to be part of a group like sheep in a flock but to differ is something else entirely. Being the odd one out feels like you are different. It feels as though you are out of the box and there is no one else like you.

I am not a big fan of mediocrity. I like weird people. The black sheep, the odd ducks, the rejects, the eccentrics, the loners, the lost and forgotten. More often than not, these people have the most beautiful souls.

The people who want to fit in are weird. Shouldn't we all celebrate our individuality and not be embarrassed or ashamed of it?
I mean come on, why would you try to fit in when you were born to stand out? All of us are unique and we should appreciate it.

In the past, I came across many people who laughed at me because I am different; I laughed back because they were all the same. I'll never fit in. That's one of my best qualities, 'cause you have to be odd to be number one.

I like being the odd one out because if you conform, you become something you hate. I love being the one who stands out. It's about 'Look at me! Look at me!' It is about really becoming someone else, becoming you.

So, be proud of who you are because trust me those sheep in the flock, don't have a clue of where they are headed or what they are doing either.

Sukoon

This morning, I went for a jog just before sunrise. The air was cool, not cold—just enough to wake me up. The world was still quiet, half-asleep. No traffic, no rush, no noise—just the soft rhythm of my footsteps and the sky slowly catching fire with color. Between Holding On & Letting Go

I was walking home one evening, lost in thought, when a friend texted me out of the blue:   “How do you know when it’s worth reaching back out—and when it’s time to let go?”   It was a simple question, but it stirred something deeper in me.
