Lost and Found: A Generation's Journey
Hey everyone!
Wow, it feels like forever since I last did this. Life pulled me into its whirlwind, and honestly, it’s been a bit like untangling a mess of earphone wires—frustrating, confusing, and endless. Somewhere along the way, I felt completely lost. But then, a thought struck me: What if being lost is just another way of being free?

We’re a generation with everything at our fingertips, yet ironically, the things that truly matter require us to look beyond the surface. The maps we carry in our pockets guide us everywhere except where it matters most. We're still searching, still looking. We've never been more connected, but inside, we feel more lost than ever before.
We float between expectations and reality, between dreams we once carried like badges of honor and a world that insists we put them away. We aim high, thinking the world is ours to conquer, but it turns out to be more complex than we imagined. It doesn’t bend so easily to our will. And somewhere along the way, we wonder, “What is it all for?”
The noise, the rush, the endless race toward something better, something brighter — it’s confusing. Even when we get there, it feels like something is missing. Like standing at the top of the hill, only to realize it isn’t as beautiful as we thought it would be.
We’re always connected, yet somehow more disconnected than ever. We have such perfectly curated Instagram feeds — sunsets and daisies — but deep down, we’re searching for something real, something lasting. We long for relationships that don’t end with double taps or emojis. We crave companionship, yet sometimes we forget how to truly be with someone else’s thoughts — or even our own.
We’re searching for meaning in places it doesn’t live. Success, attention, and validation — when they vanish, we’re left questioning whether we ever knew what we were chasing. We get so used to measuring ourselves with external factors that we lose touch with the inner compass that once guided us.
But maybe, in this wandering, we’re getting closer to finding something true. Because when we’re lost, we start to ask the right questions. We question everything. We begin to contemplate and look deep within ourselves. When we’re lost, we have the freedom to explore. And in that freedom, we find something not laid out in the plans we made years ago.
We’re not lost because we’re not good enough. We’re lost because we’re searching, and that search might be the most important voyage we’ll ever make.
We’re not lost because we don’t know where we’re going. We’re lost because we’re still figuring out what matters in a world where purpose isn’t handed to us on a gold platter. It doesn’t make us failures; it makes us seekers. We’re still looking for answers that we don’t have yet. But perhaps, someday we will.
No one talks about how confusing it is to live in a world with infinite choices. But everyone talks about how we’re not doing enough, despite all these choices. So why wouldn’t we be lost? Why wouldn’t we be paralyzed in a world that’s changing so fast that there are no clear answers?
Yes, we are a generation of lost people. But maybe, we’re not lost at all. We’re people who refuse to accept life for what it is. We don’t exactly know what we want yet, but we will figure it out. Maybe being lost is just another word for being free — free to question and free to change.
That's all from my side for today. See you soon (hopefully🤞).
Until then, be safe, be happy, and enjoy life.
Bye!!!
